Those who travel a lot know the problem: if you need a reliable WiFi-connection, it never is available. And if you as an entrepreneur want to offer WiFi, it often means that you have to have the right technical knowledge, or have the network installed by an expensive specialist. IUNGO wants to tackle that problem and make it easy to offer public Wi-Fi.

IUNGO

What is IUNGO?
The IUNGO whitepaper immediately makes clear what this company wants to achieve: “IUNGO is a globally distributed wireless internet service provider built with the help of a worldwide community. We are bootstrapping a community where everyone can assume responsibilities and benefit from the associated rewards for running parts of the service delivery infrastructure. Members can contribute by installing Public Wi-Fi access points on their premises and/or running parts of the service infrastructure ”

In short: IUNGO wants to make offering Wi-Fi easy and simple. The startup states that the parties that currently act on the market are expensive or technically complicated. Everyone can easily and quickly install a public WiFi access point via the IUNGO platform. The company now has an MVP online and via this video you can see how that works. Through an account of IUNGO everyone can log in at a particular WiFi access point and use public internet.

IUNGO uses a freemium model. This means that using and offering the basic variant is free. If you want extras such as VPN and ad-free use as a Wi-Fi user, you will have to pay for it. The same applies to WiFi providers. To receive extra service they will have to pay a fee. For example: usage statistics, the possibility for e-mail marketing and extra support.

What can you do with the token?
IUNGO issues the IUNGO token. Payments at the platform of this startup will be made with this token. The use of extra services via the platform will have to be paid and this is done with this token.

What does the roadmap look like?
The idea for this startup dates back to 2016. During the past year, the team used to do research, develop the whitepaper and build an MVP. This month the ICO will take place and afterwards the Alpha version will be worked on. It must be available in June of this year. In August there will be an Android app and in December the Beta version must go live. From the start of 2019 IUNGO wants to scale up further.

Why this ICO?
To transform this idea into a working product that can actually be brought to the market, money is needed. This ICO is mainly used to get that funding.
